There is an assortment of producers on the album, including ones he has done entire albums with such as Madlib and The Alchemist but Jake One, James Blake, DJ Dahi, JUSTICE League, DJ Paul, Kaytranada and others contribute as well. Early on, the album was supposed to feature Pharrell production, which is actually nowhere to be heard on $$$. His latest album is actually only his 5th solo album and is the first album of his to not be entirely produced by a single producer since 2018′s Freddie album. At the end of his 2019 song Education, Freddie Gibbs raps “I changed it up, pray the streets don’t take what’s left of me / Drugs for the free, soul sold separately.” Though we didn’t know it at the time, this lyric from his 2019 collab album with Madlib, Bandana set fans up for what was to come 3 years later. ![]()
